The music biz, Meatloaf.

Narrative Structure.
At the end of this document there is no real answer to it, it just ends leaving the audience thinking and not knowing. This documentary is Linear as its in order of what happened. It is open ended as there is no real answer at the end of the documentary. It shows how meatloaf became famous and shows how the career started and how it is now.

Camera Work.
There is a close up of meatloafs long detailed finger nails. There are establishing shot of meatloaf doing a concert with all there fans screaming of excitment. Throughout one of the interviews its a close up/ medium close up. Framing to the right and left. Many different cutaways during the documentay. It shows an establishing shot of HMV where their albums were being sold. There is an Extreme close up showing the make up on meatloafs face showing the audience that he is unique and different. Also there are many different cutaways. Through the documentary there is a conferrence going on which the camera work is a pan shot, showing all the people in it.

Mise-En-Scene.
It shows the location of the recording studio, this is where most interviews take place. There is some shots in the woods showing the taste of meatloaf letting the audience know there brave. Concert with flashing lights and screaming fans.
Office
The screen is blue

Sound.
The sound of Meatloafs screaming fans getting all excited and worked up at the concert.
People talking in the background.

Dialogue - music and buisness
The narrators voice shows us he is male, and also the narrator makes sure the audience know what the documentary is about explaing bit by bit so we understand.

Editing.
Throughout the documentary cut away shots are used, using images from images.
There are slow motion shots of the band, this is to show the proper expression on their faces, by making it slow motion the audience will know how meatloaf was feeling.
Also slow motions of the fans reactions towards meatloaf, also showing the emotions they were feeling and how they idolised meatloaf.

Archive Material.
There are footages of past concerts showing what they were like and how the fans reacted with meat loaf.
Also footage of brit awards. There are also Newspaper articles about meatloaf.

Graphics.
Throughout the documentary black and red is used as in written.
Titles pop up at the bottom of the screen when people are being interviewed.
When there is an interview there will still be different images.
